Job Purpose To provide consultation to management on strategic staffing plans,
Responsibilities compensation, benefits, training and development, budget, and labor relations. Establish human resource objectives and develop organizational as well as people strategies in line with the organizational objectives and goals. Implement people strategies by establishing functional accountabilities along with driving talent acquisition, compensation benchmarking, performance management, employee life cycle management, training and development, statutory compliances, safety & health, succession planning, employee relations, talent retention and overall administration. Work with the senior departmental leaders and business heads to understand the market trends and initiate multiple interventions within OD & CM, L&D and TM space. Work closely with the CEO and the executive team to develop & execute human capital strategies that effectively support and enhance the overall business strategies. Implement and maintain effective succession and development plans, including management development and employee career path programs appropriate for supporting and sustaining the company's transformation. Maintain healthy Employee Relations for smooth functioning of the Plant to achieve organizational goals Responsible for HR budget preparation and monitoring Ensure recruitment within stipulated budget / sanction / timelines Plan and implement Employee welfare & Engagement activities. Ensure timely and fair performance management for all employees annually, including confirmations as and when required. Ensure effective working of Time office, Wage & Salary administration, plant administration, deal with appropriate agencies like security, housekeeping, contracts & other service providers Ensure Minimum Wages are paid in a timely manner by the contractors to his/her employees. Ensure Contractor complies with the provisions of various Labour Laws under various statutes. Liaise with various Government Authorities such as: PF, ESIC, Factory Inspectorate, Government Labour Office, Pollution Control Board, Local Self Bodies, Police Dept.,etc. Ensure and implement proper disciplinary procedure in the Plant for smooth running of the plant, towards achieving Productivity and Quality. Ensure strict Compliance to statutory laws as required under various Labour Laws Design & conduct training program to meet individual & plant needs to achieve company objectives Participate in Plant associated audits for HR activities. Conduct Exit interview for Staff & Operators Qualification- MBA HR/ MPM/ MSW Experience - 15+ years in Steel / Manufacturing Industry Skills Required Should have handled a role in the capacity of Head HR for a minimum of 3 years Strong leadership capabilities to work in a dynamic and fast growing environment Strategic Thinker Well abreast with latest HR systems and processes Proven ability to lead and manage teams, should have handled a large HR team Strong interpersonal skills as role demand a very close interaction with various Business Heads Should be fluent in Kannada languageJob tags
