Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Remote Sensing Scientist located in New Delhi. The Remote Sensing Scientist will be responsible for conducting field sampling, processing and analysis of remote sensing data, developing algorithms, and using data analysis and machine learning tools to assist in improving yield mapping precision and crop classification. The Remote Sensing Scientist will also be responsible for working with soil scientists and agronomists to integrate soil data and crop management data to develop predictive models.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with remote sensing data processing and analysis
• Experience with GIS, machine learning, and data analysis tools
• Strong programming skills in Python or R
• Experience in working with soil data, crop management data, and predictive models
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Remote Sensing, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Experience with agricultural data and systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
