Job Overview We are seeking a qualified and experienced Middle School French Teacher to join our team at Teacher Pool. As a Middle School French Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching the French language to students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) curricula. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in French or related field
- 2+ years of experience teaching French to middle school students
- Proficiency in MYP and IB French curricula
- Strong knowledge of the CAIE French curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and ability to inspire and motivate students
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Adaptability and flexibility in teaching methodologies
- Familiarity with educational technology and willingness to integrate it into teaching practices
- Fluency in spoken and written French
Roles And Responsibilities - Deliver engaging French language lessons to middle school students, following the IB and CAIE curricula
- Develop and implement creative lesson plans and instructional materials that cater to different learning styles
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through various formative and summative assessments
- Provide constructive feedback to students and encourage their growth and development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes cultural understanding and appreciation
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate interdisciplinary units
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain regular communication with parents/guardians
- Stay updated with current trends and developments in French language teaching and integrate them into classroom practices
