Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Design Engineer to join our team at National Aircon India Pvt Ldt. As a Senior HVAC Design Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing HVAC systems for various projects. This is a fulltime position that requires 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in HVAC design and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems equipment and related software.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and other design tools.
- Familiarity with local building codes regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and analyze HVAC systems based on project requirements codes and standards.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings specifications and equipment schedules.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform load calculations energy modeling and system sizing to optimize design.
- Select appropriate HVAC equipment and components to meet project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations industry guidelines and safety standards.
- Review and approve technical submittals shop drawings and material samples.
- Conduct field inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve designrelated issues during construction and operation phases.
- Stay updated with industry trends emerging technologies and advancements in HVAC design.
