About the job
The Risk Incubation Team APAC is looking for a Sr Technical Consultant to provide consulting and implementation service including requirements gathering, analysis, design, solution development, knowledge transfer and overall project support both off and on customer site and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. We also assist the (pre-)sales teams with relevant activities design, project scoping & estimates, PoC support, etc. Our team comprises of Risk subject matter experts that are at the forefront of SAS Risk solutions and work to ensure that our organization provides best-in-industry solutioning and advisory.
As a Sr Technical Consultant, you will:
- Provide timely, professional and quality delivery outputs on assigned projects, leveraging expertise in the application of specific SAS technologies, solutions, methodologies, and project experiences.
- Understand, utilize and communicate best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally.
- Leverage detailed technical knowledge to support sales opportunities and implementations across solution domains including Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations.
- Install SAS software solutions and any required supporting products for knowledge sharing and demonstration purposes as assigned.
- Contribute to detailed technical documentation as required, such as requirements, design, administration and user guides.
- Participate in and provide product and solution training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge of core components of SAS offerings.
- May conduct customer sessions for requirements gathering, data discovery, analysis, reporting and presentation.
- May lead knowledge transfer sessions internally and/or with customers.

Required qualifications
- 5 years of relevant experience within a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, or related field
- Knowledge of Stratum platform, VA, any risk solution is considered a plus.
- An equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Domain knowledge within Risk
- Industrial knowledge of Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI)
Preferred qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience and above
- Project implementation experience
- Knowledge of SAS Base/Macro Programming
