Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Foundry Manager to lead our foundry operations. As a Foundry Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the foundry, including production, quality control, and operational efficiency. This is a senior-level position that requires at least 7 to 10 years of experience in foundry management.
Qualifications And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in foundry management, with a minimum of 7 to 10 years in a senior role
- Strong knowledge and expertise in pattern making, methoding, and moulding
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and environmental legislation
- Ability to forecast organizational risks and develop strategies for risk mitigation
- Demonstrated ability to optimize financial performance and manage commercial risks
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Roles And Responsibilities - Oversee the daily operations and production activities of the foundry
- Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and company standards
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet customer requirements
- Develop and optimize production processes to achieve operational efficiency
- Monitor and forecast organizational risks and take appropriate actions to mitigate them
- Manage commercial risks and identify opportunities for financial performance optimization
- Lead and mentor a team of foundry technicians and operators
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure coordination and alignment of goals
- Maintain a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety
