Job description
Ontinue India Private Limited is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Security Operations Center (SOC) team as an Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are interested in gaining practical experience in the field of cybersecurity and network defense. The SOC Intern will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring security event alerts and logs to identify potential security incidents.
- Participate in incident detection and response activities, including initial triage and investigation.
- Collaborate with SOC team members to analyze security events and assess their impact.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited university with a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
- Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and common security technologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
