Job description
Responsibilities: 1. Model Consolidation and Assembly: a. Integrate all interior models delivered by the model build team into the sled and update includes as needed to ensure completeness and compliance. b. Ensure global contacts are correctly captured and create load case-specific constraints and contacts.
2. Seat, Occupant, and Seatbelt preparation: a. Position the dummy in the model based on the reference model configuration and create a pre-simulation setup. b. Perform a quasi-static simulation to "squash " the seat model into its pre-impact configuration. c. Define and verify seat belt routing within the assembly and ensure all necessary inclusions are updated. 3. Compliance and Quality Assurance: a. Ensure all includes adhere to established guidelines and standard practices. b. Verify the integrated model thoroughly through a data check run before delivering test-ready and plugin-ready models to company. c. Perform robust self-checks and document findings to ensure ongoing project compliance.Job tags
