Job Title - Senior Software Test Engineer
Job Location - Pune (Hybrid) JOB DESCRIPTION • Analyze test requirements/designs, and produces re-usable test scripts and procedures to test new and amended software • Verify test script against business requirements using functional specification and technical documents provided by the design team • Understand and interpret functional and non-functional requirements as needed to develop test cases • Actively work to identify, communicate, mitigate and resolve testing issues and risks • Manage test scripts, test cases, test results using standard testing tooling such as Jira or Rally • Participate in test plan, test case, and test results review sessions and make modifications if necessary. • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality is not broken and recommends corrective action EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS • 5-9 years of industry experience in all areas of the Quality Engineering/testing • Should have at least 4+ years of hands on automation experience(Java) in API/UI/Database automation, Karate framework. • Should have good knowledge of Jenkins, Github/GitLab • QE experience including test planning, test case creation and execution and defect logging using QE tools, such as Jira • Experience working in an agile environment. • Experience in one or more automation scripting languages • Hands on experience automating RESTful API functions and calls • Hands on experience automating UI using Selnium webdriver • Strong knowledge of software testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies • Assist in the planning and facilitation of User Acceptance Testing as needed • Ability to work well both independently and as a member of a teamJob tags
