CAD Design Engineer

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed CAD drawings and models of parts and components based on provided samples and specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings, ensuring adherence to design standards and specifications.
• Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure the functionality, manufacturability, and quality of designed components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production staff, to refine designs and resolve design-related issues.
• Proficiently use Siemens NXCAD for part modelling, assembly, mold design, drafting, and CAD/CAM programming as needed.
• Conduct design reviews to ensure designs meet performance requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and cost targets.
• Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and production teams during the fabrication and assembly process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of design iterations, revisions, and specifications.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.
