Job description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Application Developer to join our development team. As a Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Laravel. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end development will be essential in creating functional and user-friendly web applications.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the client and development team to understand project requirements, goals, and objectives.
- Design and build web applications using Laravel, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot issues in the implementation and debug builds to maintain a stable and bug-free application.
- Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to integrate the user interface with server-side logic and databases.
- Test the functionality of web applications, ensuring they meet the requirements and deliver an excellent user experience.
- Ensure smooth integration with external services, APIs, or databases, resolving any communication or compatibility issues.
- Scale projects based on client feedback, making necessary adjustments to accommodate growth or changing requirements.
- Record and report on the progress of work, documenting tasks, milestones, and challenges faced during the development process.
- Maintain and update web-based applications, monitoring performance, addressing issues, and applying necessary patches or updates.
- Present completed work in meetings with clients and management, providing updates, showcasing features, and gathering feedback.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience in web application development using Laravel or similar PHP frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., Vue.js, React).
- Solid understanding of back-end development, including server-side programming languages (PHP), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the stability and functionality of web applications.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools to validate application functionality and performance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
