As a Product Manager Technical Screener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the technical competency and alignment of candidates applying for Product Manager roles within our organization. You will be responsible for evaluating candidates' technical expertise, understanding of product management principles, and their ability to solve complex problems. Your assessments will help us identify top talent who can drive innovation and success in our product development teams. Key Responsibilities: Technical Evaluation: Conduct thorough technical assessments of candidates applying for Product Manager positions, focusing on their understanding of relevant technologies, software development methodologies, and industry best practices. Problem Solving: Assess candidates' problem-solving skills by presenting real-world scenarios and evaluating their ability to analyze, prioritize, and propose effective solutions. Product Management Principles: Evaluate candidates' understanding of product management fundamentals, including market analysis, product roadmap development, feature prioritization, and user experience design. Communication Skills: Assess candidates' communication skills, both verbal and written, as effective communication is essential for successful product management roles. Collaboration and Leadership: Evaluate candidates' ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead discussions, and influence decision-making processes. Feedback and Reporting: Provide detailed feedback to hiring managers on candidates' technical proficiency, problem-solving abilities, and overall suitability for Product Manager roles. Maintain accurate records of candidate evaluations and assessments. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management and technical screening techniques. Continuously refine and improve the technical screening process to ensure alignment with organizational needs and hiring standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred. Proven experience (X years) working in product management or a technical role within a software development environment. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Prior experience in conducting technical interviews or assessments for Product Manager or similar roles preferred. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
