Job description
The IT AOA BSI Operations Manager will be working across multiple vendors, markets and streams and must have a very strong leadership skill to promote the integration amongst Business, IT (Information Technology) Streams and Partners (at all levels of the organization) ensuring a high quality of sustain operations and continuous improvements on the IT products and processes fully supporting business evolution, where key focus areas are automation, AIOps and Continuous Improvement to ensure operational excellence.
A day in the life of ADI
Reporting to the Sr Global Vendor and Operations Manager for Business Solution Integration (BSI) in ADI, responsibilities of this role include:
- Increase business centricity & Improve communication with the business and within IT streams.
- Integrate the different IT areas and the business.
- Problem management & root cause analysis leading to operational excellence.
- Data analysis to discover problem area trends and opportunity for improvements.
- Increase speed of response / resolutions through a higher sense of urgency.
- Focus on AIOps, Automation and Continuous Improvement to reduce impact to our receivers and promote a sustainable operational environment.
- Contribution to IT Strategy.
- Documents training materials for the product area and delivers training to the end users, deployment and support teams.
- Identifies gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation.
- Responsible for identifying security & compliance requirements, including roles, associated with our scoped applications and services.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.

- 4+ years of experience in IT, preferred with experience in agile methodologies
- Understanding of various SAP and non-SAP solution integration technologies. Examples: Process Integration, Cloud Process Integration, Data Services - BODS; familiarity with SAP transactions, tables, navigation and data objects.
- As a plus, if you have knowledge on OpenText Platform (B2B/EDI), Mulesoft (or API platform), Azure (Data Factory, Logic Apps, Event Driven Architecture), Service Now, Knowledge of Hybrid integration platforms spanning cloud and on-premise (iPaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience supporting business critical operations.
- Understanding of end to end (E2E) business flows.
- Ability to review incidents and determine repeating trends in issues.
- Experience in service management principles and execution
- Demonstrated experience in establishing standard processes and managing performance to achieve key metrics
- Experience explaining technical concepts and technologies
- Experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams
- Effective communication and presentation skills are vital as you develop working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, such as service integrators, service provides and vendors across the globe (face-to-face and remote)
