About the job
As a Data Operations Specialist, you will be at the forefront of managing and optimizing our data processes, ensuring the seamless flow and accuracy of information critical to our operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with diverse data sets, implement efficient workflows, and contribute to the foundation of our data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- As a key member of the marketing team, this role supports the Marketing Analyst in data collection and compilation efforts for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Conducts thorough data gathering and error analysis to aid in the development and execution of marketing dashboards.
- Collaborates closely with both internal marketing team members and external stakeholders to support marketing performance reporting processes.
- Responsible for the accurate collection, recording, and use of marketing data using established protocols, tools, and processes.
- Assists in preparing marketing reports and presentations for internal reviews, stakeholder meetings, and external communications, ensuring data integrity and clarity.
- Applies analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data quality and follow up with escalations
Requirements
- Proficient understanding of data analysis techniques and reporting methodologies.
- Technical skills and understanding of interpreting data and analysis for solving business problems.
- Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills with the ability to manipulate data in Excel.
- Some experience with Data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, Datorama).
- Good interpersonal and project management skills; ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Typically requires 2-4 years of experience in a data analysis role, including experience in data collection and reporting.
