Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1.Design and Development of Mechanism, Glass and Seals Part for Automotive vehicles. 
2.Prepare of SOR for Mechanism  Parts incorporating all requirements for new development
3.Knowledge of Design and Development Tools like APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, GD&T Stack up and Analysis, DVP&R, IMCR, VA-VE, POKA-YOKE etc.
4.Design Proposal to meet the specified Performance, Weight, Cost etc
5.Knowledge of Global Regulatory and Homologation requirement of individual parts like Latches, Outer and Inner Handles, Window Winding Mechanism, Check link,.
6.Knowledge of Free Body Diagram and Design calculation to meet Feel and effort targets
7.Design proposal to take care of all failure modes of DFMEA
8.Analytical ability, root cause analysis for resolving the  Build & validation, Field failure.
9.Design Proposal to meet the specified Performance, weight ,cost etc. with no  guidance
10.To conceptualize and implement the design and lead the team to convert the concepts into 3D Models and product design
11.Lead and guiding a team of CAD engineers/ Designers through concept and feasibility

Experience

5-6 Years for BE
10 Year For Diploma

Industry Preferred

Qualifications

BE in Mechanical Engineering.
Diploma In Mechanical /Automobile Engineering

General Requirements

Good Knowledge of

1)Sheetmetal Design.
2)Sheet metal Manufacturing Process.
3) GD&T 
4)CATIS V5 & TEAM center
5)Concern Resolving.
