Job Description:
We are looking for a structural steel draughtsman to work with our team of Engineers and convert designs into detailed structural & scheme drawings.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with engineers to gather scheme details and structural requirements.
- Create step by step construction scheme and sequence drawing.
- Create detailed general arrangement and fabrication drawing using Autocad software.
- Generating BOQ from fabrication drawing
- Ensure final drawings comply with regulations and quality standards set by the organization.
- Standardize drawings & prepare databank.
Skill Requirement:
- Proven work experience as a drafting engineer
- Hands-on experience with Autocad software
- Familiarity with 3D modeling tools (Revit, Civil3D etc.)
- Hands on experience in structural steel detailed shop drawing.
- BOQ estimation from drawing.
- Good mathematical skills
- Flexible with occasional extended working hours
