Job description
Position Overview:
As the Senior Manager of Strategy, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and execution of our hyperlocal logistics business in India. You will play a crucial role in establishing the initial infrastructure, processes, and partnerships necessary to launch and scale our operations. Additionally, you will transition into overseeing sales and operations planning once the business and team are established.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Develop a comprehensive strategy for launching and scaling our hyperlocal logistics business in India, taking into account market dynamics, competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations.
Identify key market segments, target customers, and growth opportunities to drive long-term success.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategic objectives and ensure seamless execution.
Operational Excellence:
Oversee the setup of operational processes, systems, and infrastructure required to support our hyperlocal logistics operations.
Implement best practices for inventory management, order fulfillment, and last-mile delivery to ensure efficient and timely service.
Continuously optimize operational performance through data analysis, process improvement initiatives, and technology adoption.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field MBA preferred.
Proven track record of 5+ years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or business development, with experience in the logistics or e-commerce industry preferred.
Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
