Job description

Neyyar App is a unique Learning Application and a huge marketplace of education that combines both B2B and B2C markets together. The platform allows institutes and individuals to sell their courses to their targeted students. Learners can sort institutes and faculties based on ratings, read all reviews, interact with other learners, and access free versions of courses. Institutes and individual teachers can focus on content creation as we take care of technology and marketing, and have complete control over their courses. We aim to ensure that quality education reaches every corner of the country.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the functioning of Neyyar App and ensuring that it achieves its goals. The General Manager will work closely with the tech team, the content team, the marketing team, and other stakeholders to drive growth, enhance the user experience, and provide high-quality education to learners. The General Manager will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring policies, overseeing finances, and ensuring that the organization complies with laws and regulations.

Qualifications

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven experience in managing a team and achieving organizational goals
Experience in the EdTech industry would be an advantage
Familiarity with technology, digital marketing, and content creation
Good understanding of finance and the ability to manage budgets
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; MBA would be preferred
