Job description

Understanding process of Aluminium GDC, Sand casting, Shell moulding for non ferrous material.
Able to manage Casting Plant Shop floor and Manpower
End to end knowledge related casting product manufacturing
Knowledge on machining process required for castings
Able to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings
Able to read and understand GD T
Knowledge of Industrial engineering
Analytic and problem solving Skill
Good communication and Negotiation skill
Skill of conflict management
Knowledge and experience of MS office

Tasks

Review and adherence to Production schedule ( Casting, Fettling, Assembly, etc.)
Achieve STS and STR targets
Daily production plan Vs actual review, Loss review
Review Out Source Machining schedule and adherence to plan
Support to Production team for trouble shooting for end to end process.
Loss review and Implement actions to eliminate/Reduce losses
Shop Floor Stock Count and inventory management
Review and control consumption of consumable materials
Coordination with support function (QA, Process, VD, Tool room, Maintenance, PMG) for quality, Delivery related issues.
Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed
Prepare and review Production MIS
Optimization of process, standardization of process, documentation as per PPAP, Training of Employee on the new process.
Run VA/VE projects as per requirement
Hand holding production by Monitoring /Controlling rejection level/Productivity level, adherence to standards etc .
Training and skill enhancement of team members
