Overview:
The Payment Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing and management of all financial transactions within the organization. They are responsible for overseeing payment processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness and maintaining financial records. This role is essential for maintaining strong financial control and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the entire payment process including transactions refunds and cancellations
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions
- Conduct regular audits of payment processes to identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and payment partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payment processes and resolve any paymentrelated issues
- Generate financial reports and analysis related to payment activities
- Monitor and manage chargeback and dispute processes
- Implement and maintain best practices for payment security and fraud prevention
- Assist in the development and implementation of paymentrelated policies and procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and support related to payment inquiries and issues
- Conduct regular reconciliations and reporting of payment activities
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in payment regulations and standards
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support financial initiatives and projects
- Participate in system testing and enhancements related to payment processing
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize payment operations
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field
- Proven experience in payment processing or financial operations
- Strong understanding of financial principles and payment systems
- Proficiency in data analysis and financial reporting
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial records and transactions
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of payment security protocols and fraud prevention measures
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with accounting software and payment platforms
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
