Position: Technical Lead - TechOps (ServiceNow) Overview: As a Technical Lead in TechOps focusing on ServiceNow, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and support. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective utilization of ServiceNow platform to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall IT service management.
Key Responsibilities: - ServiceNow Implementation:
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects on the ServiceNow platform.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Service Catalog, etc.
- Implement best practices for ServiceNow configuration and customization.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members involved in ServiceNow projects.
- Drive technical excellence and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with other technical leads and architects to ensure alignment with overall IT architecture and strategy.
- Platform Management and Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform.
- Perform platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements as necessary.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
- Integration and Automation:
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other IT systems and tools.
- Develop automation workflows and scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated systems.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create technical documentation including system architecture, design documents, and configuration guides.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and administrators on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of X years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
- ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or equivalent.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS for ServiceNow customization.
- Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Service Mapping.
- Familiarity with CMDB configuration and management.
- Experience with ServiceNow Orchestration and IntegrationHub.
- Prior experience in leading ServiceNow implementation projects.
