Job description
- As a Generalist Human Resource Manager with India Center Management Responsibilities , we are seeking a versatile and experienced Human Resource (HR) professional to join our organization as a Generalist HR Manager with additional responsibilities for India center management
- As the Generalist HR Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective HR practices and policies while also overseeing the smooth operation of our office in India
- This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a comprehensive understanding of HR functions, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
In this role, you ll need to:
HR Strategy and Compliance:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of employee handbooks, policies, and job descriptions
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, including orientation, documentation, and training programs
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and other talent sources
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, inquiries, and grievances, providing guidance and resolving issues promptly and fairly
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting employee morale and engagement initiatives
- Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and implement appropriate actions based on feedback
Performance Management:
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions
- Support managers in addressing performance gaps and providing coaching to employees
Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and compliance
- Conduct salary benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness in the market
- Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for improvements to compensation and benefits packages
Center Management:
- Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective solutions for India center
You should apply If You Possess:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)
- Proven experience as an HR generalist, preferably in a managerial capacity
- Solid understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes
- Knowledge of performance management and training techniques
- Familiarity with compensation and benefits administration
- Proficiency in HR software and systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Prior experience in office management is a plus
