What You Will Do
1. Responsible for working on SPO's, Legacy product maintenance/technical support projects on legacy products, new product support. With support from supervisor working on product modifications /new products
2. Follow PDP process. Work collaboratively with Peers, supervisors, PM's, other engineering groups manufacturing plants, application tooling group and Lab.
3. Responsible for understanding and working towards meeting VOC, by closely working with product management
4. Facilitate and conduct conceptual reviews, DFM reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA reviews, Design reviews, phase gate reviews etc.
5. Responsible for creating models, drawings, product specifications, DVPR, test summaryxa0
6. In depth understanding of assigned product families (SD, E, PK, PS, AS, TS etc.)
7. Responsible for design changes (ECR's and ECN's)
8. Responsible for interacting with global manufacturing plants, review inspection reports and provide disposition.
9. Understand, aim and achieve organization / department /self goals.xa0
10. Show value creation, productivity improvement and continual improvements
11. Responsible for working on CAD tools like NX/Teamcenter, Engineering change tools - SAP, presentation tools - power point, analytic tools - Microsoft excel etc.
12. Responsible for self planning of work based on organizational priorities by closely working with supervisor

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
xa0B.E (Graduate in Mechanical Engineering)
What Will Put You Ahead
Design of electro mechanical products such as connectors or switches is preferred
Knowledge on connector design, development and manufacturing process is preferable
