Job description

1. Media Strategy:Â The Media Planner develops effective media strategies based on client objectives, target audience, and budget considerations. They analyze market research, demographic data, and media trends to identify the most suitable media channels and platforms for reaching the target audience.

2. Media Research and Analysis :Â The Media Planner conducts research to gather data on media consumption habits, advertising reach, and effectiveness. They analyze media metrics, audience demographics, and industry benchmarks to make informed decisions about media selection and optimization.

3. Media Buying and Negotiation : Media Planners negotiate and secure media placements, including print, television, radio, outdoor, digital, and social media channels. They manage relationships with media vendors, negotiate pricing and placement terms, and ensure optimal media coverage for client campaigns.

4. Media Reporting and Insights: Â Media Planners prepare comprehensive reports on campaign performance, including media reach, impressions, and engagement metrics. They provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of campaign data, helping clients understand the impact of their media investments.

5. Project Planning: Â The Production Manager collaborates with creative teams, account managers, and clients to plan and schedule production projects. They determine project timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables to ensure smooth and timely execution.

6. Budgeting and Cost Control : The Production Manager works closely with the finance department to develop and manage project budgets. They estimate production costs, negotiate with suppliers and vendors, and track expenses to ensure projects stay within budget.

7. Quality Control: Â The Production Manager oversees the production process to maintain high-quality standards. They conduct quality checks at various stages, manage revisions and approvals, and ensure compliance with client specifications and industry regulations.

8. Risk Management: Â The Production Manager identifies potential risks and develops contingency plans to mitigate them. They anticipate and address production challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement measures to minimize project disruptions.

9. Vendor and Supplier Management: Â The Production Manager maintains relationships with external vendors and suppliers. They evaluate vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and manage ongoing relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective production services.
