Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Automotive Mechanical Engineer, located in Mumbai. As an Automotive Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for our two-wheeler products, validating and testing prototypes, collaborating with cross-functional teams for design optimization and performance evaluation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Additionally, you will work closely with our manufacturing and supply chain partners to ensure quality and timely delivery of products. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 3+ years of experience in automotive mechanical design and development, preferably in the two-wheeler realm Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CREO, or CATIA Experience with simulation and analysis tools such as ANSYS or Hyperworks Experience with structural parts Experience Plastic parts, CAS, Class A, Class B Surfacing, Engineering, Tooling, Production Knowledge of Standards and best practices. Experience with PPAP. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials, and familiarity with design for manufacturability and assembly Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in cross-functional teams Experience with electric vehicles or IOT-powered systems is a plus Experience with project management tools such as Jira or Trello is a plusJob tags
