Job description
Sales Role
- The role has direct responsibilily for achieving sales target and growth of Oil Free products, compressors, dryers and assoicated accessories in the assigned market segment/territory through proper Territory management & proactive sales management.
- Identify new target customers and new sales opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Prospect, create and convert healthy pipeline of opportunities for exceeding sales targets at any point.
- Understand the customer technical requirements and strategically position product and value added services solutions, by demonstrating the Return on investment and value of our products to secure profitable orders and have customer for life. The role requires understanding technical requirements and specifications, finding correct solutions for new as well as replacement opporunities.
- Create in co-ordination with Zonal Manager business development plan for the territory and execute for business results.
- Proactivily use digital sales tools and measurement tools from the division to demonstrate value and drive sales.
- Is required to make business and product presentations to customers , consultants, OEM and drive marketing initiatives within the assigned territory.
- Create a loyal customer base and Increase our customer share and market share gradually
- The role requires having technical understanding of compressed air solutions.
- He/She is required to follow equipment sales process from ordering to execution and is required to follow the divisions end-to-end sales process guidelines.
- High value orders will be handled in close co-ordination and colloraboration with inter-company stake holders.
To succeed, you will need
Sales Management
- Clear business growth and territory plan for self. Should utilize the indirect business channel partners and OEM channels effectively.
- To be in field and generate business opporunities and convert it into revenues.
- To provide technically correct solution to customers, make proposals, and negotiate with successful orders.
- Comply and follow Pro-active sales management tool for all sales activities.
- Is required to follow Atlas Copco divisional approval process for Sales function.
- Continuously measure and correct the pipeline and business opportunities
Professional Requirements
- B.E(Mechanical/E&TC/EEE etc) is minimum. Additionally , MBA (Marketing) and experience of handling captial equipment sales is added advantage.
- Candidate has to be consistent , self driven and performance oriented
- Good communication, analytical and presentation skills.
- He or she should have a flair of technical sales and marketing.
- The role requires travelling in and out of city for customer meetings.
- Positive and solution driven attitude for fast and effective decisions. Customer centricity remains at the core of Sales Process.
