ExuberantHR Consulting is a topnotch recruitment consultant and currently seeking experienced resources for the Manager Accounts & Finance role for a leading heavy infrastructure and construction subsidiary company in the iron and steel sector. Due to the confidential nature of the position the clients company name cannot be disclosed.

Position: Manager Accounts & Finance

Company: Heavy infrastructure and construction

Experience: 510 years post qualification

Education: CA Inter / Finance MBA/PGDM (fulltime)

Budget: 8 15 Lakhs (Based on experience and skills)

Reporting: Head Accounts & Finance

Traveling Required: 34 days in a month traveling required to plant locations at Gadchiroli and Chandrapur.

Overview:

The role of an Accounts Manager is vital to the organizations financial health and success. The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall accounting and financial operations ensuring compliance with regulations and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods policies and principles
• Lead and manage the accounting team including assigning tasks and ensuring accuracy
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Develop and maintain financial internal controls and procedures
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Monitor and support taxation issues
• Develop and maintain financial reporting systems
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Supervise and support accounting staff and ensure their professional development
• Stay up to date with financial accounting principles and legislation
• Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process
• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained

Required Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as an Accounts Manager or a similar role
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledgers
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and financial data analysis
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage a team
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (SAP Fico preferred)
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High level of integrity and trustworthiness
