Job description
1. Identify requirements mentioned by Engineering Department in Technical Data
Sheet User Requisition Specifications (URS) Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
2. Vendor identification for machinery engineering consumables & project
contractors
3. Conduct technocommercial evaluation of offers for vendor shortlisting
4. Establish delivery terms time & stages of inspection in coordination with the
Engineering Department
5. Manage tenders for supply of machinery civil construction & mechanical services
6. Assist in clarification of bids & commercial offers submitted by suppliers
7. Negotiate commercial terms and contract conditions for supply
8. Ensure timely delivery by suppliers prevent project delays
9. Handle acceptance/rejections/complaints related to supply of products
Candidate Profile :
1. 45 years of experience in relevant role in a manufacturing company
2. Experience in purchase of capital goods and engineering consumables is required
3. Knowledge of tender management is preferred
4. Able to travel in Maharashtra & Gujarat for supplier evaluation
5. Graduate degree in Mechanical Civil or Chemical Engineering is required
