Job description

Installing and upgrading the database server.
Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system.
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database. Controlling user access permissions and privileges.
Developing, managing and testing back-up and recovery plans.
Ensuring that storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning correctly.
Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving of SQL development.
Work on Linux and Unix shell scripting. Controlling and monitoring user access to the database.
Database Synchronization, monitoring, Performance tuning.
Database access control, Installation & Creation of database Application. Document database design & access control policies.
Crash recovery, Patch management, Backup & Restore
