Job description
We are looking for a copywriter with ad experience who can generate engaging and clear text for different marketing material like headlines for landing pages, ads, newsletters, and other customer-facing communications, etc. You will work with the creative director and art director to brainstorm and produce the most effective and innovative ad campaigns and concepts.
If you re the right candidate you ll be passionate about the future of data and the potential of DeFi; We prefer a copywriter candidate to have experience in writing advertisements for blockchain-related products, be able to translate the highly technical subjects to plain and engaging words and messages.
Responsibilities - Brainstorming with the creative team to produce the most engaging advertisements and develop creative ideas and concepts
- Doing research to keep up with trends in the fast-changing blockchain industry
- Writing clear, persuasive, original copy through the various iterations of the project, for example, writing headlines for the landing page or CTA to drive engagement
- Collaborating with design and marketing team on projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
- Proofreading copy to checking spelling and grammar
- Adjusting and developing the adverts or advertising campaigns under creative directors guidance and feedback
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the adverts and advertising campaigns
Are you the right person for this role The ideal candidate for us has:
- 2+ years experience in writing effective and engaging marketing and ad copy, video scripts, and developing campaigns preferably within a fast-changing start-up environment and blockchain industry
- Excellent command of English, understanding nuance and wit and able to adapt tone-of-voice; for example switching from casual to authoritative, depending on context.
- Outstanding teamwork, communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in writing in a style driven by a brand voice or concept; and writing to support the concept from start to finish
- Be a self-starter and able to manage workload and deadlines
