Job description
Role & responsibilities :
The Head of Human Resources - HR is responsible for delivering all HR deliverables per the laid down policies and procedures of the University. S/he shall guide and lead the team and collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate their HR-related requirements. Be the process owner for all the people-related matters and decisions. As an HR Lead, the incumbent will drive process efficiency and effectiveness for all HR operations through strong collaboration with HR Teams in other locations. S/He will work towards fostering a culture of continuous growth and improvement.
- Responsible for all end-to-end HR deliverables about the campus and University level requirements.
- Ensure all payroll-related functions are carried out efficiently by university policies, procedures and work practices.
- Ensure Statutory compliance requirements as per the statutes.
- Lead the recruitment team and work towards closing the budgeted vacancies and replacements.
- Responsible for working with the stakeholders on the exit and stay interview reports to reduce attrition
- Responsible and process owner for all service-related matters about the campus.
- Drive process efficiency and effectiveness for all HR processes
- Ensure day-to-day execution of service level commitments, including rigorous quality and audit reviews and timely & proactive management of escalations/service failures
- Collaborate with academic d support functions to ensure robust, accurate, timely service for all HR needs.
- Responsible and process owner for all matters about the campus. Quality and audit reviews, Timely & proactive management of escalations/service failures.
- Generate HR MIS reports and ensure the availability of information for management decision support.
- Process owner for all disciplinary-related cases and ensure the adherence to CDA rules at all times
- Responsible for PRS coordination at the campus level and completion of the appraisal on time
- Ensure effective and appropriate management of an organisation's records from their creation through to their eventual disposal and ensure the same is updated at all times
- Meet all SLAs as agreed with various stakeholders. Example: Hiring SLAs, Onboarding SLAs, Grievance closure SLAs etc.
Conduct regular employee engagement programs, employee feedback and implementations.
Preferred candidate profile :
Education
- MBA / Masters degree in HR or related field from an institute of repute
Experience
- 14+ years of total experience in Human Resources with 4+ years of experience/exposure in HR Operations, preferably in large University settings
- Experience working on core HR areas / entire gamut of HR, preferably in the University/education industry. Knowledge of HR Operations and Recruitment trends will be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to lead a team of HR professionals (operations and recruitment) and deliver with efficiency and an in-depth understanding of HR systems and processes.
