Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at WTT INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, focusing on wastewater treatment facilities. This is a full-time position based in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of experience in civil design engineering.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in civil design engineering, preferably in wastewater treatment projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Knowledge of plant layout design and tank volume calculations.
- Familiarity with structural engineering principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and project management skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop civil engineering plans and specifications for wastewater treatment projects.
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure design integrity and functionality.
- Prepare accurate project cost estimates and material quantities for bidding purposes.
- Perform technical calculations and analysis using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all design aspects.
- Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide technical support and assistance during the construction and commissioning phases.
- Conduct research and stay updated with the latest advancements in civil engineering and wastewater treatment technologies.
