Job description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Network Monitoring Manager. He will be part of a Core Network team. that is responsible for improving the monitoring performance and developing to the team that meets business objectives and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities: Monitoring the various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, OLT, PON, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS) Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning Coordinate with Fiber vender & Field Team and ensure service should be up within SLA. Centralized Monitoring of PAN India network. Coordinate with various internal team (NOC, System, CX, PSC, Infra, PNT, etc) Provide Level-1 support to all technical query Ensure services would be restored within SLA Managing the day-to-day activities of the team. Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential. Conducting quarterly performance reviews. Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Handling complaints (from both staff and customers) Repeat Incidents tracking and driving action plan with owner team to provide hassle free NW experience Identifying areas of improvement and recommending process modifications to enhance operational efficiencies of the systems. Reviewing the operational practices, identify the areas of obstruction/ quality failures and work on system and process changes for services improvement Supervising the preparation of MIS and various other reports

Competencies & Experience: 5+ years of minimum relevant experience. Working experience of Incident Management. Hands-on experience with various NMS tools, network diagnostic and network analytics tools. Working experience of Change Management. Team handling experience of 3-4 years in ISP, telecom Industry. Excellent communication skills. ITIL. Strong organizational skills to give the team direction.
