Job Description for Network Voice/Video Architect Essential Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate alternative technologies and architectures in relation to Customer infrastructure needs. Interface with management and vendors to develop and implement new solutions to meet business requirements. Design and manage the rollout of critical network infrastructures to support Customer Products and services, on both a strategic (long term) and tactical (immediate term) level. Perform analytical, technical, cost analysis and CAPEX development work in the planning, design, installation and on-going administration and management of Customers core data networks. Ensure that network infrastructure is fully documented and performing as required for internal and customer SLA guarantees and expectations by means of specific metrics and measurements. Provide technical expertise to Product Development to develop new product strategies and enhance existing product sets. Contributes to departmental activities and programs by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Cisco VoIP CUCME, CUCM, Unity Connections Server Skills. Zoom Video conferencing technology knowledge required. Managing, Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco devices. Managed and Maintained Voicemails, Phone setup. Provisioned and Supported Existing infrastructure of Cisco Voice Adds, Moves, and Changes to Voice Gateways, Cisco Switch,E1,T1s, and Call Routing. Managed day-to-day client and internal service requests and documented all services performed Worked on design and implementation of Dial-plan for Inbound and Outbound calls in CUCM Clusters Provided help to client (State Farm) on troubleshooting Routers, Switches and Cisco VoIP products Deployed several multisite VoIP installations with centralized call processing. Configure dial plan with calling restrictions by using a combination of calling search spaces, partitions, translation patterns, COR, dial-peers, translation rules and translation profiles. Troubleshoot call routing issues using debugs and traces to identify and correct issues. Configure and implement voice gateways (H.323/MGCP/SIP), SRST for remote sites, CUCME. Develop and maintain support documentation including support guides, knowledge base articles, procedures, and online customer information. Ability to complete complex projects and installations successfully within aggressive time frames and budget parameters. Update and close tickets. documentation on tickets and track issues to completion Good knowledge of SIP, MGCP, SCCP, and H.323 protocols Troubleshooting voice gateways/routers, SRST Education/Experience Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Network Engineering with five or more years directly related experience in a telecommunications service provider network. (Proven technical experience may be substituted for educational requirement) 10+ years experience designing computer networks, including local area (1.) To independently resolve tickets and esnure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team. (2.) To provide support for on call escalations orL3 level support and doing incident and problem management (3.) Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviewsorparticipation in hiring drives. (4.) To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies (5.) To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases (6.) To participate or contribute on EN business in creation of proposals to drive Service improvement plans.
