Job Purpose:
To manage own shift production, quality and manpower (weaver, quality checkers and cleaners etc. Managing and maintaining best output with available resources.
Context:
Weaving is a complex process involving lots of critical activities. It involves lots of manpower involving lots of skill set to carry out the job. In this work force most crucial part it weaver whose skill set development and maintaining is a big challenging task.
Challenges:
- Availability of skilled workmen owing to the uniqueness of the industry, technology & processes.
- Bringing in and maintaining a productive and quality conscious work culture among workmen.
- Implement 5'S system at each stage of preparatory section.
- In the form of an essay of size 1/2 - 1 page
- Covers the relevant business and environmental context

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities
Supporting Actions
Control of Production and Process parameters
- Prepare, implement and record the routing and preventive work schedule.
- Check important quality parameter and ensure corrective action to control fabric defect for maintaining standard quality norm.
- Regular Interact with weavers regarding attending time, damage & taking corrective action
- Maintain and improve in-process quality parameters.
- Always check department ambience and ensure to maintain as per STD.
Capacity utilization
- Monitoring individual machine efficiency in shift & act accordingly.
- Monitoring weaver losses regularly in own shift.
Systems Adaptations
- Implement & Monitor HIRA and Safety SOP at the job site.
- Attends level -I team meeting
- Device QCDIP targets for operating teams, Monitor it monthly & guide teams to achieve
- Implement corrective actions for deviations from Basic Condition Audit
Capability building
- Track performance and skills of individual subordinates and recommend personnel for relevant training and development programs to the training dept.
