Job description

Position Summary To drive B2B sales through various channels, including retail store activations (including modern trade), partnerships with veterinarians, and online B2B lead generation. The company manufactures the widest range of both edibles and non-edibles in India and our vision is to ensure maximum penetration of our product portfolio across the country.

What are we Looking for? Key Responsibilities: Lead a team for the following: 1. Retail Store Activations: ○ Identify potential retail partners and onboard them to ensure wider product distribution. ○ Organize partner promotional events, demos, and workshops to generate interest and drive sales. ○ Monitor stock levels at partner retail stores and ensure timely replenishment.

2. Veterinarian Engagement: ○ Foster relationships with veterinarians, pet clinics, and animal hospitals. ○ Conduct product training sessions, ensuring vets understand the advantages and suitability of the product range. ○ Collaborate on co-branded promotions or events to boost product visibility and recommendation rates. ○ Gather feedback from vets to continually enhance the product offering and address any concerns.

3. Online B2B Lead Generation & Conversion: Oversee the online B2B lead generation strategy ○ Analyse online lead data to determine effectiveness and ROI of different channels. ○ Follow-up on generated leads, ensuring a high conversion rate. ○ Coordinate with the digital marketing team to refine and optimize the lead generation strategy.

4. Market Analysis & Strategy: ○ Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences. ○ Use insights to refine sales strategies and identify untapped opportunities or potential threats. ○ Share feedback with the product development and marketing teams for potential product enhancements or new product development.

5. Team & Stakeholder Collaboration: ○ Coordinate with internal teams like marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless operations and customer experiences. ○ Report sales performance, challenges, and market insights to senior management. ○ Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and targets.

6. Performance Metrics & Targets: ○ Set, monitor, and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. ○ Evaluate channel performance metrics and develop strategies for continuous improvement. ○ Ensure consistency in sales growth and strive for an increased market share.

7. Customer Relationship Management: ○ Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty. ○ Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. ○ Organize and attend trade shows, conventions, or other industry events to network and promote the product portfolio.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies ● A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant work experience ● Master’s degree is a preference ● Analytical acumen, team player, paired with agile mindset and can do attitude. ● Business driven, proactive and entrepreneur mentality. ● Customer-target and result-oriented. ● Ability to build lasting relationships.
