We have also built the country's largest digital B2B platform, the Plantix Partner App for agri-inputs - connecting tens of thousand local retailers. The company has over 1000 products listed in the product catalogue, offers transparent pricing, easy payment and business management.

About the role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Agronomist/Plant Pathologist/Toxicologist to be a key player in our demand planning team in Indore.

This role focuses on utilizing advanced crop protection strategies, leveraging our robust database of plant disease images and metadata from the Plantix farmer app.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Expertise: Deep understanding of the toxicity and effectiveness of various crop

protection products.

2. R&D and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in crop protection and

plant pathology.

3. Disease Analysis: Use Plantix app's image metadata to analyze plant diseases and

determine effective crop protection strategies for given regions in India (together with

our analytics team)

4. Demand Forecasting: Work with supply chain teams to predict product demand,

influenced by disease trends and product performance.

5. Educational Outreach: Educate the sales team and customers on product application

and safety.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

● Master's degree or PhD in Agronomy, Plant Pathology, Toxicology or a related field.

● At least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field, with emphasis on crop

protection.

● Must have international exposure (academic or professional experience)

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Proficient in English, with excellent communication skills
