Job description

Position Title –Key Account Manager-Modern Trade Location – Hyderabad Geography Covered-Entire AP & Tel based at Hyderabad. Total Experience - 5 to 12 Years Qualification – MBA

(Full Time Compulsory) Reporting to- Branch Sales Manager & Head-Modern Trade-Bengaluru Direct Reporting -

Nil (Individual Contributor) Languages Known- English, Hindi, Telugu

(Compulsory) Industry-

FMCD (Small Appliances preferably)/FMCG.

Key Responsibilities:- Reviewing of the product masters: prestige listed items and rationalizing of the same to ensure that the products are suited as per the region/market Identifying the missing links and bridging those gaps by finding out why the demand for prestige products for certain categories is absent Arriving at the promotional calendar for every account Upon discussion with category managers: conduct Store-wise and SKU-wise planning for the listed items of the company for the concerned account, Branch-wise planning for the concerned account, National- wise planning, and target setting for the month Forming tie-ups or Terms of Trade (TOT) with each account for the ongoing year Negotiating contracts (TOT) with clients and establishing a timeline of performance Finalizing the promoter count for the particular account and ensuring maximizing the throughput per store Planning for the stocks SKU-wise and indenting for the month Ensuring the Purchase Order comes through for the particular month as per the plan Ensuring the proper fill rate and regular monitoring of collections to ensure payments come on time Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and the company Resolving key client issues and complaints Developing a complete understanding of key account needs Anticipating key account changes and improvements Managing communications between key clients and internal teams Managing account team assigned to each client Strategic planning to improve client results Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met Meeting category managers to give them a demo of the new launches Collaborating with the sales team to maximize profit by up-selling or cross-selling Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members and stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines Analyzing client data to provide customer relationship management Expanding relationships & bringing in new clients and exploring new channels.

Remarks- Experience in Modern Trade is compulsory &

Candidates from General Trade will not be considered. More Exposure to Regional Accounts is an added advantage. Candidates

who have handled business of 5 Crs PA & above will be only considered. Travel requirement (Minimum 12 to 15 Days across AP & Tel) Working Knowledge of SAP is preferred & Good Working knowledge of Excel is compulsory. Good Communication & Influencing Skills. Looking for a stable candidate

(Frequent job changes will be not considered ) Team Handling is compulsory (Compulsory to handle On Roll Team Only) Local Candidates will be preferred.
