Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Engineer located in Chennai at Vivid Healthcare. The Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical equipment and systems, ensuring that they are running at peak performance and optimal safety standards. Additionally, the Service Engineer will be responsible for training customers on the proper usage of equipment and responding to customer inquiries and concerns. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Medical Electronics, or a related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of Radiology equipment Knowledge of medical equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques Understanding of medical equipment safety standards and regulations Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and adapt to changing circumstances Organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with technical documentation, such as schematics and service manuals Availability for occasional after-hours and weekend work, as well as emergency response Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) certification is a plusJob tags
