Job description
This role sits at the centre of fund management, tech, compliance and all the other external partners like custody, Registrar, exchanges, bankers etc.
You will get exposure to end to end processes in the product life cycle of the Mutual Fund industry.
Responsibilities
Managing daily Fund Cash Flow and Banking Operations
Settlement of trades across asset classes Equity, Debit, Commodities
Review outsourced activities of the R&TA operations on a daily basis
Review all the reconciliations and take appropriate action
Review outsourced activities of the fund accountant to ensure NAV accuracy
Conduct trial balance scrutiny, review periodic scheme financials etc.
Conduct Budgeted vs actual expense review
Expense processing and payouts on a timely basis
Ensuring taxation compliance i.e. with Income tax, GST, TDS etc.
Managing various audits- statutory and internal audits
Review various regulatory reporting to SEBI, AMFI and compliance with SEBI MF regulations
Requirements
Experience upto 5 years in the financial service industry. Mutual fund industry experience would be an advantage
Should be capable of taking responsibility and driving things through
Should have a learning curve towards integrating operations and tech
Understanding of Index Fund / ETF related processes would be added benefit
Educational Qualification
CA/ MBA / Post Graduate
