ole - Junior Researcher Location - Mumbai (Work from Office) We are looking to hire a Junior Researcher in Content with a good academic background (60% throughout) and strong fundamental knowledge in Economics and/or Finance who will work directly with the Content Lead using a range of tools to acquire information, interpret as well as verify statistical/economic/financial data, and occasionally writing up sections of the report/articles. Responsibilities: Conducting research on new and given topic ideas and dig accurate data and information to support the hypothesis. Conducting desktop research, and using books, journal articles, newspaper sources, questionnaires, surveys, polls, and interviews to gather data. Analyzing and interpreting patterns and trends. Fact-checking data and information of already-written content for any inaccuracies and inconsistencies. Strictly adhere to Content Plan and Guidelines as well as Disclosure norms. Anticipating research ideas and doing ad-hoc research as and when needed. Following a strict code of ethics and protecting any confidential information. Using data to depict patterns and trends in attractive Charts and Infographics. Supporting the Content Lead and other writers with drafting sections of reports/articles. Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Finance/Economics. A Master's degree with a significant research component is preferable. 3-6 years experience with strong understanding of financial terminologies and economic parameters. Excellent reading skills with the capability to decipher information in an easy-to-understand format. Proficiency in MS Office, mainly Excel and Word. Attention to detail and exceptional written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills. Good industry knowledge of the Debt market; a sound understanding of pooling investment vehicles like Mutual Funds and Alternative Investment Funds will be an added advantage. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and collaborate effectively with team members.
