Job description
1. Strategic Leadership: The CEO is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the CDMO, including defining long-term goals, growth strategies, and identifying new business opportunities. They provide visionary leadership and guide the organisation towards achieving its objectives.
2. Business Development and Client Management: The CEO plays a critical role in driving business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new clients, negotiating contracts, and building strong relationships with pharmaceutical companies and other potential partners. They ensure client satisfaction, address client concerns, and explore opportunities for expanding the client base. 3. Operational Excellence: The CEO oversees the operational aspects of the CDMO, ensuring efficient and effective project execution, adherence to timelines, and high-quality standards. They establish robust operational processes, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and optimise resource allocation to drive productivity and profitability. 4. Regulatory Compliance: The CEO ensures that the CDMO operates in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, both at the national and international levels. They stay updated on regulatory changes, implement necessary measures to maintain compliance, and foster a culture of quality and compliance throughout the organisation. 5. Talent Management: The CEO is responsible for building and leading a high-performing team. They attract top talent, provide mentorship and guidance, and develop a strong organisational culture that promotes innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. 6. Financial Management: The CEO oversees the financial aspects of the CDMO, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation. They monitor financial performance, implement cost control measures, and drive revenue generation to ensure the financial stability and growth of the organisation. 7. Industry and Stakeholder Engagement: The CEO represents the CDMO in industry forums, conferences, and associations, building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as government agencies, industry leaders, and trade associations.
