In the Workverse, learners have an avatar of themselves in an imaginary company where they're at the centre of 100+ scenarios that involve decision making, problem solving and use of powerful communication. Through this participative learning experience, they master soft skills and mental models which provide a strong foundation for them to succeed in the real world of work. We also provide access to jobs at the end of their learning journeys.
The most exciting part of the role: You get to create exciting visuals for our branding and social media, you will be at the forefront of creating unique visuals to educate the masses about the new world of work and the importance of workplace intelligence.
Responsibilities:
● Edit raw video footage to create compelling and visually appealing videos, adhering to project requirements and objectives.
● Utilize motion graphics and visual effects using software such as Adobe After Effects to enhance video content.
● Incorporate animations, typography, and other graphic elements to create engaging motion graphics for videos.
● Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts, storyboards, and design guidelines for video projects.
● Ensure consistent visual style and brand guidelines are maintained across all video content.
● Select and integrate appropriate music, sound effects, and voice-overs to enhance the overall video experience.
● Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and motion graphics.
● Organize and manage video assets, including footage, graphics, and audio files, ensuring efficient workflow and easy accessibility.
● Work closely with clients or stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address any revisions or feedback.
● Manage multiple video editing and motion graphic projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality output
Skills / Requirements:
● Minimum of 1 year of experience as a video editor with proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
● Strong command of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
● Expertise in creating motion graphics, animations, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects or similar software.
● Solid understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, transitions, color grading, and audio synchronization.
● Basic know-how of modern A.I. tools to leverage it for creating faster video editing pipeline
● Creative mindset with the ability to think critically and generate innovative ideas for motion graphics.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage and maintain video assets effectively.
● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and effectively convey ideas and concepts.
● Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
● A portfolio showcasing previous video editing and motion graphic work, demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and attention to detail.
