Role: QA Automation Testing
Location: Hyderabad Bangalore Pune
Hybrid Mode Position Exp: 3 8 Years
Job Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs using Python frameworks such as pytest unit test or Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in Selenium test automation is required.
- Implement API testing best practices including negative testing boundary value analysis and performance testing.
- Utilize tools and libraries for mocking data generation and API documentation parsing.
- Collaborate with API developers and QA teams to define test requirements and design effective test scenarios.
- Integrate API tests into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for automated execution and feedback.
- Analyze test results identify and debug API issues and report findings to developers.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in API automation and testing.
- Contribute to the improvement of existing testing tools and frameworks.
- Document test automation processes and procedures for future reference.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in API and UI Test automation.
- Experience using AzureDevOps or similar process management tools.
- Strong understanding of Python programming language and testing frameworks.
- Experience with API testing methodologies using Postman.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying BDD Cucumber frameworks for test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation concepts.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired:
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Experience with bug tracking Scrum boards in Azure DevOps.
- Experience working with peers and managers who are geographically dispersed.
