We are looking forÂDistrict Cooling Engineers who want to work in Qatar.

JOB PURPOSE:
To manage, oversee, and supervise all activities related to District Cooling network construction on site. To carry out daily supervision of construction activities, required inspections of fit-up and welding, and report to Network Projects Manager ensuring that all network construction works meet the quality requirements and follow the project specifications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Prepare and follow up construction program and project schedule.
• Analyze and review shop drawings, design drawings, method statements, specification of materials and procedures.
• Follow up on ongoing and pending/due submittals, review subordinates' review comments and highlight differences and deficiencies.
• Solve on-site construction-related issues/clashes in coordination with other parties involved.
• Conduct regular site inspections along with other team members to ensure work is carried out in accordance with the requirements.
• Perform the inspection of materials for District Cooling network construction.
• Review and evaluate third part inspection reports.
• Interact and communicate with all team members and contractors to ensure smooth operation and close out of the project within specified timeframe.
• Arrange and attend all progress and coordination meetings with contractor and other stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• 5 years of relevant work experience with a major utility / infrastructure / plant construction in GCC

JOB-SPECIFIC SKILLS (GENERIC / TECHNICAL):
• Proficiency in English
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough knowledge of standards and codes relevant to the specific utilities (DC & PWC)
• Familiarity with authority regulations
• Computer literacy (AutoCAD and Microsoft Office in particular)
