Position: Technical Lead- Telco Analytics Platform - Testing
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
· Lead, guide, monitor and participate in the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of functional & non-functional testing activities for designated telecom analytics projects.
· Strategize Functional, Performance and Automation Testing teams for assigned Area.
· Identify appropriate tools, technologies and frameworks for test activities.
· Setup the test environment in baremetal and cloud infrastructure.
· Drive development of test Automation preferably in scripting language Shell/Perl/Python on Unix.
· Provides technical expertise and guidance on specific products, technologies and specialised environments to team members, colleagues and customers.
· Determine the appropriate quality initiatives to implement during each phase of the system development life cycle.
· Coordinate and Technical guidance to multiple product lines.
Educational Qualification:
· B.E. / B.Tech. , M.E./M. Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA. Advanced degree preferred
Experience Level:
· Overall 10 to 15 years in Quality Engineering with more than 5 years in Bigdata Analytics
Domain Skills :
· Knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop / Spark / no-SQL / Oozie / Hive/ Presto / Postgres / Etc.
· Experience working with cloud technologies e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
· Knowledge on Revenue Assurance, Roaming, Settlements, Fraud Management, Risk Management, Mediation, Interconnect, etc. is preferred.
· Knowledge of 3GPP, ITU-T/ANSI, SS7, GSM, IS-41, ETSI, 3GPP standards is preferred.
· Technical know-how on SCCP, TCAP, MAP, ISUP, INAP, CAMEL, SIGTRAN, Diameter, LTE, 5G. protocol stacks will be a plus.
Technical Skills:
· Scripting languages like Perl / Python
· Knowledge of Java/ C/C++ is a plus
Testing Skills:
· Experience in Big Data technology and should have good analytical skills
· Excellent knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle including Functional & Non-Functional Test Phases
· Ability to work across multiple projects or large SAFe Agile programs
· Good knowledge of current Test and Automation Tools
· Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure
