Job description
DocuSign is looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Insight team.
This person will need to seamlessly slot into agile teams and work closely with all facets of the organization (product, back-end development, UX, and Design) to achieve high quality results.
This position is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Senior Director Engineering.
Responsibility
- Architect and design front-end components for DocuSign Insight team
- Drive strategic code sharing and architecture for one or more functional areas
- Share and drive best practices for performance and availability for one or more functional area
- Ensure design and architecture is extensible across multiple projects and conduct technical-design reviews
- Contribute to and drive a culture of building scalable and highly available systems
- Work with Project Management and other developers to understand design requirements and provide estimates for development
- Work as part of a hardworking, agile development team to deliver engaging user experiences
- Collaborate with our platform engineering teams to implement new features and to bring existing platform features into web platform
- Demonstrate a strong focus on instrumenting features being developed to gain insights into usage patterns and feature success
- Identify, build, and manage test cases and devise efficient, scalable testing processes
- Work optimally with product management and design to build features that satisfy user needs with simplicity, consistency, and adaptability
- Identify, propose, and implement process improvements to continuously increase the teams productivity and efficiency
- Stay up to date with the latest development best practices and share your findings with the team
- Work as part of a cross-site development team to drive the design, implementation, testing, and release of products
What you bring
Basic
- 8+ years development experience
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience working with TypeScript and the React framework
- Experience building reusable front-end components
- Experience with front-end testing libraries
- Experience delivering a SaaS product
Preferred
- Experience with full stack development in one or more of OO programming languages like C# or Java or Go is desirable
- Experience working with cross-browser behaviors and quirks
- Experience building reusable web components ideally within a Micro Frontend Framework
- Passion for UI
- Good sense of usability and design
- Experience working with remote teams
