Job description
Scope of Work Design PCIe-based modules conforming to PCIe standards; Select suitable load cell (Spring loaded screw) for heat sink/thermal solution Define PCB mounting constraints for rigid and Flexible PCB’s through DXF and EMN (IDF) exchange. Qualifications & Skills B.E/ B. Tech Mechanical Engineering Required to have Compute Server Mechanical Design; Preferred with GPUs, Switches and NICs: (Machined, sheet metal and plastic), 19” rack mountable chassis (1U,2U,4U etc). Expertise in cable routing by using Cabling module in Creo. Extensively worked with PCB layout and Hardware engineers on Component selection, placement considering thermal and structural aspects. Proficient in part drawing and assembly drawing (SOP) creation. Experience in PCB mechanical design Experience in gasket selection and thermal pad selection. Knowledge in Geometric dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). ASME Y14.5 and Tolerance stack up. Knowledge in material selection, finish Standards & Manufacturing process. Knowledge in Part modelling and Sheet metal design. Good awareness of PCIe standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently as well as in teams. Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
