Senior Manager - HR Business partner

This Role supports People Managers in implementing all people processes, talent management activities, defining and deploying HR initiatives specific to assigned verticals, maintain staffing levels. Identify HR process improvement opportunities, complete assigned improvement projects within quality, cost and time requirements. This role will support the Vaccines vertical for India market and the role is based out of Mumbai, India.

Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Support all talent management, succession planning, organizational design and organizational alignment activities. Partner with the Talent & Development team. Contribute to organizational change management activities when necessary.
  • Coach leaders and members of leadership teams to successfully manage all cyclical people management processes (talent management, succession planning, performance management, compensation planning, etc.).
  • Partner with the L&D organization on learning strategies and solutions to support and enable talent strategy.
  • Partner with talent acquisition organization on activities in support of the organization's workforce plan and talent strategy.
  • Partner with various cross functional teams within HR to drive impact.
  • Coordinate employee diagnostics (engagement surveys, team assessments, exit interviews), analysis and action planning for Assigned verticals.
  • Drive formal employee interface (in most cases through managers) to understand issues/ expectations and support manager in resolution.
  • Lead interventions (like grievance resolution, disciplinary action, special projects like R&R ) to enhance employee engagement.
  • Supporting the TGF (Talent Growth Framework) process for assigned verticals via implementing processes for identifying aspirations of people, consolidation training needs and facilitating in-house or outsourced development programs.
  • Support the people managers in terms of key people management decisions like identifying team member needs (skill, deployment, rewards etc.), suggesting resolution mechanisms
  • Preparing business case to support recommendations and facilitating employee-based interventions; facilitating change management processes

Required Experience

  • MBA in HR preferably from premier HR institutes
  • 6-9 years of experience as an HR Business Partner and in an HR COE or relevant applicable experience

Skills/Competencies

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, demonstrated ability to consult with and coach senior leaders and managers across multiple cultures
  • Ability to strategically prioritize time and problem solve against most impactful activities and initiatives
  • Strong workforce analytics skills, data-driven mindset and proven experience of navigating and leveraging HR systems / data analytics to support client consultation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to demonstrate and foster collaboration among peers and extended HR organization, solid networking skills
  • Ability to operate with an agile mindset within a fast-paced environment
  • Resilience and positive thinking, can-do approach
