Job Title: Snowflake Data Engineer 100% REMOTE

Job Description:

A skilled and motivated Snowflake Data Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in transforming our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS Glue and will be responsible for migrating data processes, workflows and pipelines from SQL Server SSIS into Snowflake, enabling the harnessing of the full potential of cloud-based data warehousing within Snowflake.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). Proven experience in data engineering, with a focus on ETL processes and data warehousing. Strong expertise in AWS Glue, Snowflake, and AWS cloud services. Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for ETL development. Experience in migrating from SSIS to a cloud-based data warehouse is a significant advantage. Knowledge of data modeling and best practices in data warehouse design. Familiarity with data governance and security best practices. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders. AWS certifications related to data and analytics is a plus. Knowledge of SQL Server SSAS cubes and associated MDX/DAX languages is a plus.
